With the release of the announcement of the General Administration of Customs of China on the inspection and quarantine requirements for imported frozen fruits from the Philippines, the Philippines has obtained the qualification to export frozen fruits to China for the first time.
The Philippines is the second country after Ecuador that can export frozen bananas to China, while pineapples are the first to be included in the list of frozen fruits that can be exported to China.
After the General Administration of Customs of China issued the "Announcement on Allowing the Import of Frozen Pineapples from the Philippines", Shanghai Siam Food and Philippine S&W immediately responded. With the full support of S&W, Shanghai Siam Food immediately introduced the first batch of frozen golden pineapples to provide Chinese consumers.
It is reported that the first batch of frozen golden pineapples weighs 18 tons and is packaged in 1,800 boxes. This batch of frozen golden pineapples are all produced in the S&W plantation on the plateau with the largest volcanic landform in the world. It took only six days for the whole cold chain to arrive in China from the Philippines.
