According to the China-Russia Information Network, the press office of the Russian Railway Logistics Company announced that the company, in cooperation with the Eurasian Railway Logistics Joint Stock Company (UTLC ERA), the first full-length refrigerated train carrying agro-industrial products was sent from China to Russia via Kazakhstan.
Recently, the train traveled from Nongzhong Station in Zibo City, Shandong Province, China to Selyadino Station in Moscow Oblast, Russia, passing through Dostyk Station in Kazakhstan, with an estimated travel time of 18 days. The train consists of 50 individual refrigerated containers that transport frozen fruits and vegetables, seafood, and other agro-industrial products.
In the near future, the company plans to start regular shipments from China to Russia along the route, with at least 4 trains per month.
